Manmarziyaan and Tandav actress Sukhmani Sadana conveys a strong message on Woman's Day. She feels that a mother is the most important member of a family. Sukhmani said, "All women are strong and powerful, right from being a daughter, to giving birth to a child and fulfilling many responsibilities being a mother, wife or a daughter-in-law. She has to constantly make adjustments. Men also have many responsibilities but women have a lot more."


Sukhmani feels that her mother has been a pillar of support and strength in her life. She said, "My mother has portrayed strength, affection and harmony for our entire family. Her contribution to my work and career has been immense. She has guided me not just personally but also professionally. You know, many times you wonder, how your family members fell sick so often but your mother always seemed happy, fit and fine. It’s only because a mother doesn’t let you know of her sufferings and pain. And that’s why this Woman’s Day, it is important to let your mother know what a fabulous woman she really is”. 

Sukhmani has been part of films like Manmarziyaan, web series like Sacred Games, Khotey Sikkey, Love Bytes, Tandav, Udan Patolas, Apharan 2 on Zee 5 and Alt Balaji.

She has also written scripts for Vikram Bhatt's 1920, Rocketry directed by R. Madhavan with Shah Rukh Khan, a film for Netflix directed by Ali Abbas Zaffar starring Diljit Dossanjh. Currently, she is writing a film for Vikas Bahl
